Shawnda's Testimony (Age 17):

 

“Before I came to the House of Esther, I was involved in a lot of sinful things like smoking, drinking and having sex with many young men. I was involved in illegal activities that cost me almost two months of my life and freedom while I was pregnant.

 

The House of Esther gave me family therapy to give me closure in my life, financial classes that taught me how to budget my money, prenatal classes prepared me for my birth and also many encouraging staff to console me along the way. 

 

So when I first entered the program, I was brokenhearted, confused and angry. But during my time in the House of Esther, I got saved and gave birth to a precious little boy. While leaving the House of Esther, I feel like I'm leaving happy, thankful and more informed.”
